Meagan and Scott : August 2, 2008

There is an old saying that rain on your wedding day is a lucky sign. Judging from the deluge that delayed their ceremony for over thirty minutes, Meagan and Scott are destined for a very happy marriage.

Meagan and Scott got married at the historic Commander's Mansion in Watertown, MA. Although it was raining too hard for the ceremony to take place outside in the Grape Arbor, the tent was large and dry and provided lots of beautiful bounced lighting for the photography. Formals were taken during the Cocktail hour and dinner was served in the mansion's elegant dining room and catered by Harvest Catering, Inc. Meagan and Scott added their own personal touch to the decor, naming tables after various Civil War General's, in keeping with the mansions unique history.

After dinner and the toasting, the cake cutting and traditional dances, Meagan and Scott and many of their guests were ready to dance the night away. In fact, the music was so well selected, and the DJ with Siman Entertainment, so professional and friendly, many people couldn't resist the music or the beat and got up on the dance floor. I know I couldn't resist doing a step or two, here and there, as I crisscrossed the dance floor-the music was that good!

Meagan and Scott, thank you so much for choosing me to document your special day. I had a wonderful time with you and your families and friends. I wish you the very best in your lives together.
