OCEAN EDGE RESORT WEDDING : DIANA + TOM

O my first love! You are in my life forever
'Of My First Love', from Collected Poems by Hugh MacDiarmid (1892 - 1978)
Poetry in motion. Congratulations Diana and Tom!

Diana and Tom, I'm honored to have documented your first day as husband and wife. Diana, I truly enjoyed working with you. Your ideas were really good ideas and you were always so considerate.

I especially enjoyed the big surprise you planned with Tom. Diana's dad, John, flew the newlyweds in his helicopter to the reception. Hovering above Ocean Edge Resort the words "Just Married" could be seen by all of the wedding guests on the side of the couples "Air Limo!" I am still tingling from the adrenalin rush I had as John landed the helicopter on the mansion's rolling emerald lawn.

Thank you Diana and Tom for trusting Pat Lordan Photography to record this important day. I wish you the very best in your new lives together.

Below are a handful of the many amazing moments from your special wedding day.   Enjoy!  Pat

The Best Way To Get Married : August 24, 2008

The best way to end the summer is to get married to your best friend on a warm and sunny day. Deb and Donna did just that in August 2008 at the United Church of Christ, Congregation in Burlington, MA followed by a garden reception at the Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont, MA.
Deb and Donna kicked off the reception with a dance on the terrace of Habitat's Georgian-style house. The Habitat gardens provided the perfect back drop for formal pictures. As you can see Deb and Donna really enjoyed the gardens, and I encouraged them to pick a daisy for a couple of pictures. Who can resist a daisy? Not me!
A delicious lunch was served outside among the gardens and catered by Table of Contents. After lunch Deb and Donna along with their family and friends made their way back into the house for cake cutting and formal dances. DJ Mr. Ed provided a wonderful selection of music that kept everyone dancing the afternoon away.

I want to thank Paul Coulombe, the videographer, for his professionalism. Paul, your great to work with AND you make a fantastic, light meter model!
